A Hollywood Star refuses to go under the knife

Opening up to Yahoo, the pressure felt by Halle Berry in Hollywood seeing everyone doing it.

Halle said “It is pressure,” “When you see everybody around you doing it, you have those moments when you think, ‘To stay alive in this business, do I need to do the same thing?”

She encourages her fellow women to look within themselves for their beauty while they are aging. “We have to stop wanting to look like that decade before,” she said.

halle.jpg She further lamented,  “’you know if you just did a little bit of this and that, lift this up, then this would be a little bit better.’ It’s almost like crack that people are trying to push on you. That’s what I feel like.”

After the pressure can be too much, she’s not giving in to it. She’s focusing on what’s best for her than the desires of critics in the industry.

“I just have kept reminding myself that beauty really is as beauty does, and it is not so much about my physical self,” Berry said.

She added, “aging is natural, and that’s going to happen to all of us. I think of those women that I thought aged so beautifully, like Lena Horn.”

His album Skhanda Republic which came out late 2014. According to reports, his tunes Skhanda Love and  One Love were eligible  for consideration

Even though the songs being commercially hits on radio, it failed to gain recognition for the awards which will be taking place on February 27, 2016.

ko He made a weighted note congratulating all those that got yes and nods. He further stated, being overlooked by awards in general is at the core of his success.

Teasing his fans to watch out his new album in 2016.

Congratulations to all those nominated at the Metros this year!!! My album came out late 2014 yet it spawned singles that made a resounding impact in 2015 #SkhandaLove #OneTime I owe the success of those singles to all the media channels who made them as big as they became including #MetroFM   . Thank u to the fans as well for the support! We submitted the songs to be considered but sadly didn’t make the Metros nominations list. Being overlooked at these award ceremonies (s/o SAMA☺️) has been the story and fuel behind my solo journey. I feed off of that. Soldiers don’t bitch about the scars picked up on the battlefield, they simply soldier on! F*ck a flash wound, there’s a war to win! New album out 2016! Love always #SkhandaGawd

Ameyaw Debrah is an idiot – Wanlov

Amid the heat of the Kempinski disrespect for Ghanaian celebrity Wanlov the Kubolor, a notorious web publisher Ameyaw Debrah could not help but stick a nose in the matter via his twitter page.

Wanlov the Kubolor had been dishonored over the weekend by a food and beverages manager at the Kempinski hotel in Accra, and while the issue was at its climax on social media, Ameyaw Debrah seems to have joined the group of shameless Ghanaians who went out on social media laughing at Wanlov the Kubolor for getting sacked from Kempinski hotel simply because he is known for not wearing shoes.

On twitter yesterday Ameyaw Debrah tweeted ” haha i see nothing wrong tho…wanlov has his style (no shoes)..kempinski have their ‘standards’ (no no shoes) #bigdeal it’s down to choices”. The unfortunate tweet which found Wanlov in bad spirits received a very cold reply and a serious “fayabashment” from Wanlov and his determined fans.

When Wanlov checked in on tweeted after an interview on O.FM 107.7, he replied to Ameyaw saying ” U dier u be idiot no be today”.

Kempinski Management have publicly apologized to the Gospel Porn rapper and Afro Pop singer, but seemingly the apology was not satisfactory to Wanlov the Kubolor. He insisted on Okay Fm drive time with Abeiku Santana that, he demands a proper apology from the food and beverages manager himself to all respectable Ghanaians for dragging Ghanaian culture under German feet.
